# Access, share and track a file

The 5-minute tour of the CloudFiles widget for end users.

Once your admin has installed CloudFiles, every record page shows your connected storage right inside Salesforce. This quick start walks the end-user journey: find a file, share it with a tracked link, and watch the engagement.

## Open the widget

On any Account, Opportunity or custom object record, find the CloudFiles panel. The folder shown is automatically connected to this record.

## Share with a tracked link

Select a file → Share → choose link settings (email verification, expiry, download permissions). CloudFiles creates a branded link and logs it on the record timeline.

## See engagement analytics

Open the Analytics tab in the widget to see views, time-per-page and downloads. Views can trigger events for automation — e.g. notify the owner when a proposal is viewed.
